When my family moved into a new home, I was searching for groupings of photos that appealed to me. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find clusters that blended together. I have always loved photos of nature. There are so many ways to view flowers, moss, leaves, etc... The photograph can be from a wide perspective, to very, very close. A flower can be seen in many different ways. You can see the entire flower, or you can focus on the dew down in the very center of that flower. While visiting my parents' I took my father's camera and went on a walk. They live in the North Georgia Mountains where there is plenty to concentrate on. From very colorful, to simple. After getting the photos downloaded I began experimenting with different techniques to apply to the photos. Kaleidoscopes have always intrigued me. I decided to apply that technique to the flower photos and was surprised with the results. I grew up around photography and learned early on about focusing on what you want to get in the photo. Keep anything out that isn't important. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I have enjoyed taking and displaying them.
